An X-Stretch crotch panel allows enough range of motion to accommodate a 14 year-old gymnast (probably), so I definitely had enough movement available. The mesh liner is removable as well for trips to the washer to help keep the new-leather smell as long as possible. Removable CE-approved armor is found in the elbow, shoulder and knees.
